On your Registration Form, you should show your
level of english, using the assessments shown below. This will help the school to
ensure that the group is homogenous. Some of the schools show the levels
necessary for each course.
If your level is very low (less than level 5,
for instance) it may be better
for you to enrol on a General English course. Nearly all the schools also
offer these, and the prices are often lower than the Teachers' courses listed. The offices in "In my country" can provide dates and details on
request.
HOW TO ASSESS YOUR LEVEL
Level 9: Very Advanced. My English (both passive and active) is completely fluent.
Level 8: Advanced. Although I speak and
understand well, unfamiliar situations can cause some difficulty.
Level 7: Upper Intermediate. I do not have many problems but sometimes cannot make myself
clear and may sometimes misunderstand.
Level 6: Intermediate. I can communicate quite well but
often make mistakes and have some difficulty understanding.
Level 5: Lower Intermediate. I can speak and understand English in everyday situations but make a lot of mistakes and sometimes have great
difficulty
Level 4: Post Elementary. I can speak
and understand simple English. |
