Make the Most of the Lifelong Learning Programme with Excel English
You may be worrying that the new European Lifelong Learning Programme (formerly called Socrates) will mean complicated changes for English teachers who want to take a refresher course abroad. The good news is that the application process has if anything become easier and Excel English in London will use its expertise to guide you in the application process. And now that the funding for Grundtvig 3 is more and more high profile, Inforteach is looking forward to working with more and more English teachers working in adult education.
Since the LLP was introduced in December 2006, all the National Agencies have the same deadlines for applications. This means it is easier and quicker for schools like Excel English to tell you if we can offer you a place on a course. Ideally you should look for a course with a course code from the LLP database because your application will be prioritised. For example, if you teach English in adult education, look at the EU Comenius & Grundtvig databare for details of a course which is ideal for you.
It is also important that when you complete the application form for your National Agency you can show how the course will meet your needs, how it will enhance the European dimension of your teaching and how you will share what you learned with colleagues. These are essential parts of the LLP and at Excel English we are leaders in helping you to make the most of your course. So, whether you are a secondary school teacher or adult educator, we look forward to welcoming you to our English Teacher Experience. |
